This one is my personal favorite. This game like candy crush challenges your creativity and is an excellent mind-game for growing kids. One starts with an empty board and then starts building a life of his/her own. Not literally in fact. You get options to insert items like trees, houses, robots, etc. All this on a bush that is the background. The more you match the items, the greener the grass becomes. The more you proceed further, the bushes become full grown trees, houses become estates and bears become tombstones (that is silly, but it’s the game). Triple Town is enough a challenge for growing minds.

4. Farm Heroes Saga – Free

This one indeed another one in comparison to cuteness with Smiles HD. Yes, This game like candy crush is another one of those building block games. Not quite different. But it has that childish factor associated with it. The reason they chose fruits, vegetables, and elements of nature is because it is designed for kindergarten kids. They are primarily introduced to these items as part of their curriculum (hope you remember your own nursery days). Thus, this game is overloaded with its dose of cuteness.

5. Dots: A Game About Connecting – Free

The technical looking simplistic graphics just add to the amaze of the game. It’s indeed a game one would prefer to play when a break is needed in the middle of something. It doesn’t actually have steps and levels but it a simple time pass game where you would have to join dots to complete a trail. The longer the trail, the more the score. The quicker the trail, the more the time score. And you simply need to keep playing better to complete your own record. Thus, it’s an excellent game whenever you are stuck in traffic or waiting for an interview, etc.

What seems to be a boyish game is a craze in the market now. BraveSmart is about finding smaller homes and joining them to make bigger ones. Or rather than saying ‘finding,’ it is basically crafting these homes. The character of the player is called a Scotsman. The Scotsman is not ideally under your control, but you can modulate its movement. This is what exactly makes the game challenging. The game is quite complex and certainly not for kids. One could say that it is focused for those above 13 years of age.

7. 10000000 (10 million) – Paid – 179.00 INR

Unlike the name suggests, this game is not about money at all. It’s actually on violence and thus not for the young. One needs to proceed with the game and build points to get swords, shield, keys, etc. which you would need to combat the dragon at the end. Somewhat like Tomb Raiders but it’s a mobile version. And ya, it gives that dark dungeon feel, because dungeons are underground.

8. The Treasures of Montezuma – Free

This is probably one of the best games like candy crush that I ever played. It’s structured like an ancient palace with blocks moving to a zenith, and they cannot be stopped with time. One needs to direct and redirect them in such a manner that you kill as many blocks as possible and score high. This is indeed the third game in the Zuma series and is probably the best. The kick is the boosters that can help you score much higher if you hit it right.

9. Bejeweled – Free

The best of all games like candy crush. And the most common age old game. It’s so famous that its variations and copies are innumerable. This is besides its five sequels. One could simply spend a whole day playing this addictive game and most do. The play is simple. You need to rotate or align blocks shifting one at a time till they align in a sequence of 3. Then the blocks will kill the sequence creating a gap where every block above it will fall, thus creating a new pattern. The more sequels you make, the more bumpers you hit, the lesser time you take, the more you score.
