Early Life of Sundar Pichai
Born in Madras (at present Chennai), Tamil Nadu on July 12, 1972, Pichai (Pichai Sundararajan) went to Jawahar Vidyalaya school that is located in Ashok Nagar, Chennai and completed his Class X. Then, he went to Vana Vani school that is located in the IIT campus in Chennai to complete his Class XII.
He did his MS in Material Sciences and Engineering from Stanford University and did his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In the University, he was honored with the name of a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar.

Pichai is married to Anjali Pichai whom he dated in India and has two kids (a son and a daughter).

Pichai worked in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and in engineering and product management at Applied Materials before joining Google.

He joined Google in 2004 and became the main thrust behind the Google Chrome browser and the Chrome OS. He is also known to have worked on renowned products, such as Toolbar, Google Pack, and Google Gears before Google Chrome was launched.
