i will make sure i follow your tips.

  • Hi Atish bro,
This is a very informative post. A timely one indeed!

I personally think being a professional writer is no more a behind the scenes job and nowadays branding has to play a great role too. If you have established yourself as a writer or a brand the I am sure big companies will come asking for you.

Kristi Hines IS a role model for many. She is a marketing genius and her talent reflects in her posts on marketing.

I guess nowadays companies and business blogs are leveraging the brands of writers by giving them credit in their posts. The ghost writing is going less and companies are thinking people will come attracted because the writer has written something.

    A portfolio is a must.
Its like a CV or resume for the writers. Writers in single niche or multiniche whatsoever need a portfolio to showcase their work and caliber.

I think social media is a great branding tool too. Writers like Kristi and others can act as news curators and provide value to get a following and then land a job.

Thanks for writing this post bro. It was very helpful
    Have a great weekend.

          My suggestions are:

Do read 2-3 blog posts daily
and write 1 article not less than 500 daily.

          Keep reading and writing.

Every week compare your older and newer articles and try to find the difference. Also get your articles checked with some of your friend who is a writer and ask him/her to point the mistakes.

  • Nice article on professional writing.
I really liked you point “carrying your self as brand” . I do agree Every writer must get credits that he/she deserves
In early days writer used to write for certain company for certain blog and all the credit used to go to that company or website not the writer behind the content.

Now some company have started giving credits to their writers .
There is really so much to learn from this post , thanks for sharing with us.
