OnePlus Two or Next Nexus! Which one is good for you?

We are living in a world of fast-growing technology where new phones are launched each and every day. New phones come and go but, there is only handful of phones which remains there for a long race. If we talk about Flagship phones, the amount of beautifully crafted yet powerful phones is still low. Whenever we talk about good powerful phones, brands like Apple, Samsung and Nexus comes automatically to our mind. OnePlus is the latest addition in this list. While Samsung Galaxy S7 is scheduled to launch around mid-2016, people are waiting for next Nexus. OnePlus Two is already there in the market, and the million dollar question is, Should you wait for next Nexus or should you buy OnePlus Two.

Cyanogen: With Cyanogen in your mobile phone, you can control your phone. It gives you the ultimate freedom of modifying your phone without worrying about the warranty issue. You can change the theme, install custom ROM, change an icon and almost each and everything in your phone.

4K Recording: Don’t get shocked when we say that OnePlus is the only phone in the market which offers 4K recording in both Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) & Ultra High Definition (UHD). This means you don’t need to carry a DSLR for shooting videos, and you can actually shoot professional videos with OnePlus Two.

Type C: Again, the first and only in the market. OnePlus is the first and only phone that offers Type C charging. So, no more need to worry about which side of the USB Cable you are entering.

4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM: OnePlus Two is a beast in terms of performance. The 64 bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor delivers excellent multitasking. Thanks to 4GB of RAM that heavy gaming and playing HD videos is a breeze on this device. If that is not enough, 64GB inbuilt storage will surely fascinate you.

Affordable Price Range: One of the USP of OnePlus Two is its price. The phone costs almost half of all other flagship smartphone and still offers all those exotic features which are present in other flagship phones. The sandstone finish, impressive battery life, and a stunning camera also adds to the reason OnePlus Two is a Flagship Killer.

Things missing in OnePlus Two:

OnePlus Two is indeed an excellent phone but, there are few downsides too.

No 2K Display: With every smartphone company trying to bring the best in terms of display, OnePlus Two has stick to its Full HD display just like last year’s OnePlus One. This will surely hurt some users who wish to have at least QHD display.

No NFC: NFC was present in OnePlus One but, the company decided to skip this useful feature in the latest OnePlus Two. Reason? The company claims that users were not using this feature in the OnePlus One, so they decided to skip it. Really?

No External Memory Card: No matter how much internal storage you have in your phone but, at some point of time, you will face the need of having a memory card slot. It was missing in the previous version, and it is not there this time too.

No Wireless/Fast Charging: Type C is cool but, it is of no use if there is no Wireless or Fast Charging. Samsung Galaxy S6 proudly boasts of Wireless charging and fast charging is also coming in most of the flagship devices. Let’s see whether Nexus 5 2015 will have this feature or not.

Why Nexus 5 2015 is worth waiting?

Android M: Google recently announced the name for the latest version of Android. Nexus 5 2015 will be the first device to feature Android Marshmallow. Nexus 5 2015 will be launched in September, and there is still no news of when other devices will get the Android M update.

Latest Technology: The Google’s Nexus 5 will feature the latest piece of technology in terms of a processor that will surely cross all the benchmarks. It will be blazingly fast, and there is no doubt in the fact that it will be the fastest phone at that point of time.

Stock Android: Wish to use the purest form of Android? Nexus devices are known for having stock Android in them in which the amount of bloatware is minimum. Stock Android comes in the form as designed by Google without any additional apps or tweaks.

Best in Class Camera: If you are a lover of a perfect shot, Nexus 5 2015 will surely amaze you. Nexus devices always result better than other phones in terms of camera performance. The speed and quality of auto-focus are just beyond exceptional.

Great Looks: Nexus 5 was extremely slim and light in weight. It had excellent looks and the NEXUS written on the back side of the phone looked amazing and beautiful. The same looks will be carried in Nexus 2015 too.

Why should you not wait for Nexus 5 2015?

There are many reasons as why you should not wait for Nexus 5 2015. The very first reason is that it is risky to wait for it. No one knows about the exact specifications of the phone and until and unless, Google makes it official, you can’t trust any leaks or rumours. Also, Huawei is also participating in making of next Nexus devices so you just can’t be sure of the after sale services. Lack of Gestures and removable back cover can also be considered as a good reason to not to wait for it and buy OnePlus Two right away.

Final Verdict

It would not be an exaggeration to say that both OnePlus Two and Nexus 5 2015 will soon become the next big thing in the market. The bottom line is that if you have the invite you can buy OnePlus Two right now and if you are waiting for the invite, then wait some more and buy Nexus 5 2015.
