1. Motocross Meltdown

The first one in our list for this week is a game and that too a racing one. Highly interactive and entertaining it is sure to become a rage among kids and adults alike. It is a free game which is an added bonus, and it is a dirt bike racing game with a lot of customization options available and can even be played online with people all around the world.

The game involves players working through a lot of levels, in various settings. You have high level of customization and you can change everything, right from the colour of your bike to other high level stuff like change your bike’s tires or give other body changes.

The graphics are life like and impressive, and so is the sound. The game is an absolute delight to play and is a must have for all gamers on their android!

2. 8 Ball Pool

8 Ball Pool is one game which even people who are not into hardcore gaming would highly appreciate. It’s simple, nothing mind consuming or taxing, all you have to do is play snooker on your mobile screen. The stick is controlled by your finger and then you can determine how hard you want to shoot the balls.

You can play the game alone or against someone, depending on your competitive level. You don’t have to worry about lives left or loosing coins or anything of that sort. SO, if you have a few minutes to play a tension free game, download 8 Ball Pool and get shooting!

3. File Manager

The latest File Manager is a smooth and simple app that follows the Android app design guidelines. A file manager is a very important app because it basically organizes your entire phone and helps you sort your work, consequently your day to day life!

This file manager looks like an official Google app, and supports all the essentials like USB OTG, Custom bookmarks, compression and extraction, full cut/copy/paste features and even include its own media browser.  The added advantage is that it runs as smooth as butter on all android devices.

The app is available both in a free and paid version, the difference between the two being that of an add banner and some premium features. The app doesn’t fail to impress and you might actually think about going for the paid version.

4. Do Not Disturb

Some phone manufacturers include a Night mode or a Do not Disturb feature in their phone, which is often missing on Nexus phone. For this very purpose, Google’s Do Not Disturb is highly effective. It works efficiently, just set times and dates to silence your phone, and it does it.

There are many advanced features too, which are available on the paid version. But for normal users like us, it just mutes the phone even as the emails and notifications keep rolling on and it does the job just right.

5. Switchr

Swicthr is a gesture based app, what is basically does is that it allows you to customize exactly where and how much of the screen you want to allocate to your swipe and a choice of three different interfaces. You can choose the number of apps you want to keep there, and what those will be. It is very simple to use and has a very de cluttered interface.

There are two versions available: One with most of the functionality available, and the other with everything unlocked.

 6. 9GAG First

The last app on the list is 9GAG First! It has still not entered the market as right now it is in open beta status. It basically displays a collection of funny images, on which you can browse, comment and vote. It is supposed to be much faster than the previous apps, and will surely get a full rating from us!

That’s all for this week! Check out this space for more next week. 🙂
