This is currently the most buzzing option under the Rs. 10,000 category. The Micromax Yu Yureka is a phone that comes from Micromax’s subsidiary company Yu which has partnered with Cyanogen Inc. to provide phones running CyanogenMod in India.

It comes with a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor which is 64-bit compatible. It is loaded with 2 GB RAM and a screen of 5.5 Inches.

The phone has a rear camera of 13 MP and a front facing shooter of 5 MP. The rear camera has a flash to take pictures in low light. The phone also has 2500 mAh battery which seems ok for the specs.

This is also a 4G phone so you have that going for you.

It runs on Android 4.4.4 based CyanogenMod 11. The phone is dual SIM and currently it is exclusively available on Amazon and is sold on a flash sale for which you need to register.

2. Asus Zenfone 5 – Rs. 9,999

The Asus Zenfone 5 was launched by Asus and it created a whole new market and new user base which has ultimately created a new name for Asus.

The Asus Zenfone 5 comes with a 1.6 GHz Intel dual core processor which is coupled by 2 GB RAM which is enough for good multi-tasking capabilities. It also has 5 inches screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The phone now runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI on top which is one of the most beautiful skins for Android and it also does not come with a lot of Bloatware or extra apps. You get only the apps that you will use in real life.

The phone has a rear camera of 8 MP with flash and a front facing shooter of 2 MP. The camera works well and takes pretty nice images even in low light.

It has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera and they a pretty nice job at taking photos and videos. When it comes to battery, the phone comes with a 3100 mAh battery which seems good to power that 5.5 inch display and the phone as well.

4. Lenovo A6000 – Rs. 6,999

The new beast from Lenovo went on sale quite recently and it is a very nice phone at a price of Rs. 6,999 and it is a 4G phone, mind you.

It has a 1.2 Ghz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 4G chipset which is powered by 1 GB RAM. A screen of 5 inches with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It has a battery of 2300 mAh which seems enough for the specifications.

It has a primary camera of 8 MP which supports auto focus and a front facing camera of 2 MP.

The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Lenovo’s own UI on top. It has 8 GB ROM and the storage is expandable up to 32 GB.

The phone provides very nice features at the price which it sells at and it is also exclusively launched on Flipkart and follows a flash sale model.

5. Huawei Honor Holly – 6,999 INR

This new phone from Huawei is also creating quite a buzz in the mobile market.

The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad-core processor which is supported by 1 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 16 GB which is expandable up to 64 GB. The phone has a 2,000mAh battery which claims to provide 24 hrs on a single charge. There is an 8 MP rear shooter with LED flash and can do 1080p video recording. The front facing camera is of 2 MP which takes some impressive shots.

It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports Dual SIM.

  • These are phones with high specs and performance. But the drawback is their service centers. It lack support and if once problem starts then it is gone unlike branded ones.

  • Micromax Yu Yureka looks best phone among all in this list because it has got cyanogen mode Android which I love most apart from all other android flavors. Another thing which I loved in that phone is its high specs like 13 MP rear camera and front 5 MP thats really huge. Well I don’t know how does they perform but they look pretty good in numbers. Even Xiaomi phone is taking my attention. Nice list of phones, I am sure it will help many people in buying best android phone under 10,000 Rs.
