iBall Glint BT06 – Bluetooth Headset With Mic [Review + Giveaway] – Indian Shipping Only

What do you expect from a pair of headphones? I mean, to expect is human. We expect certain behavior or traits from everyone and everything.

I don’t know about you, but for me, any headphones should have an optimum sound quality, wireless Bluetooth integration and dashing looks.

And iBall Glint BT06 headset has exactly the same features! It is a Bluetooth headset with mic so that you can take up calls too without any wire attaching to your phone. Just turn on Bluetooth and pair it with your phone, and answer call with the inbuilt Mic.

I really appreciate iBall for being consistent with rolling out awesome gadgets, this pair of headphones being one of them. Don’t think I am making false appraisal! You will say the same by the time you finish reading this review.

Inside the box

You will find everything you need inside the box – nothing more or less. There are the Bluetooth headset with mic , USB Data Cable (For charging purpose) and a double sided AUX cable. Note that the charger doesn’t have the plug included (it’s just a USB cable). The other cable which you can see can be used to connect to devices which don’t support Bluetooth.

Lastly, there’s a manual within the box you can refer to whenever needed.

Features of iBall Glint BT06 Headset with Mic

iBall Glint BT06 is a newly launched product in the Indian market. As one can expect, this new arrival has brought in some new features too! Let’s have a look at what it has got for us:

Wireless is fun! Wired is available too!

iBall Glint BT06 uses Bluetooth technology to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices, such as your smartphone, laptop or even your desktop. I personally like the convenience of a wireless headset with mic because without using any wire I can answer any call without touching my phone even. Just need of pairing the headset with the phone once. I find the long wire irritating and uncomfortable while wireless seems a lot better. The headphones are functional up to 10 meter range.

In case you don’t want to go wireless or your device doesn’t have Bluetooth functionality, there’s a 3.5mm AUX cable (as talked earlier) to connect the headset. For doing this, you need to attach one end to the device and the other to the headset.

For example, I could conveniently use Glint BT06 for my Casio Electronic Keyboard.

Lovely Looks

iBall Glint BT06 has LED on both ear cups. The LED has a rhythmic effect too! If you care about the design of the product, you’re going to love this! The rhythmic effect is very beautiful and you’re bound to capture attention while being in a public place.

The headset is designed keeping looks in mind. The leather cushions for the ears make iBall Glint BT06 very comfortable for your ears. Most other headphones are either too heavy or with low quality ear support, but this is not the case with Glint BT06! You won’t feel uncomfortable even after consistent use.

Awesome Audio, Banging Bass and Cunning Controls

iBall Glint’s audio quality is just great! I found it comparable to top notch companies like Skull Candy, JBL and Sony. It’s indeed remarkable for an Indian company to achieve such standards! I could immerse into the music and literally feel the lyrics.

Tip: If your smartphone has a stereo mode, make sure you turn it on while using this headset. If asked, select “iBall Glint” from the list. This will improve the sound quality considerably.

Headphones are incomplete without bass. As iBall promises, the bass is pretty soothing and decent. Bass is actually important for a decent experience. Poor bass can ruin the fun of music!

In addition to music, I tried this headset for calling purpose and found it comfortable. With Glint, it’s pretty easy to switch between music and calls. This is even bettered by the inbuilt controls. YES! Look at the below image:

These buttons can make your experience even better. You can do basic things like changing track, pause or fast forward. Moreover, you can answer a call or reject it through these controls.

Flexibility

You don’t have to worry about the size being uncomfortable! iBall Glint BT06 comes with size adjustment. You can alter the size as per requirement and stick to the one that fits your head perfectly. What’s the hassle left then?

Moreover, iBall cares about your portability. The headphones are foldable along the ear cups. This makes it easy to carry it anywhere or put it comfortable in a bag.

Mic, FM, and micro-SD card

This is the Headset with mic which I have been mentioning throughout this review because it is the tagline of iBall Glint. It means that you don’t need to bring your smartphone close to your mouth while speaking in a call because its mic does that work. Moreover, it is advantageous while playing online games where you need to communicate through mic. (For example, Counter-Strike)

You can also tune FM channels using the buttons available, and listen to your favorite FM channels. You do not need to connect an external device for this. iBall Glint BT06 is capable of tuning through the channels on its own! Moreover, there’s a micro SD card slot available.

Thus, you don’t even need an external device while listening to music. iBall Glint BT06 is an autonomous complete package!

Battery

For wireless usage, you will need to charge the headset. It comes with an inbuilt battery which takes up to 3 hours to charge.

You can use it consistently up to 4 hours, while it can stretch for 30 hours on standby. The LED indication can help you determine the charging status. Red indicates that the headset is still charging while blue shows the working mode.  After it gets fully charged, it lasts up to 4 hours in working mode, and 30 hours in standby mode.
