If you have enjoyed playing the original Temple Run, then you will fall in love with the Temple Run 2! 
The rule of the 2 is same like the original game; you need to save your life and keep collecting coins to shoot up your score board. But this time you don’t need to just run, you need to escape from a giant ape, swing over the rope, duck under the low bridges, jump over huge gaps etc… You need to navigate perilous cliffs by swinging over the ropes or jumping over! In this fast n furious game, if you fail to react, you will break down by either crashing or falling. Even the ape is always behind you! 
Improved upon the graphics, the sequel places you in a jungle and strokes you with zillions of twists and turns.
In one of the press release, the co-founder of Imangi, Keith Shepherd said that; the response from fans has been overwhelming. We are thrilled players want more of the Temple Run universe, and we hope to grow and expand the game over the coming months. In another interview by Keith Shepherd, he said that, we have been having a lot of fun with the game — it’s pretty hard to put down, frankly.
Temple Run 2 is a free app and now is available both on the App Store and Google Play.

Yup, its surely much much better… No doubt the 1st version was also addictive, but the 2nd one is surely awesomer!
