Mobile World Congress of 2013 is highly expected. It does not happen to be so without a valid reason. This makes the market refresh itself with the gadget of the same manufacturer, apparently with modified devices. And the following month is expected to rain new gadgets in the world of mobile phones.

In this trend comes out the Samsung Galaxy Cover 2 GT SS710. This device is a party piece at the very outset. It is water and dust resistant. So, now you are free to hold the phone without worried about giving it a firm grip.
What does the Samsung Galaxy X Cover 2 hold?
The all new Samsung Galaxy X Cover 2 GT SS710 is to be unveiled in the Mobile World Congress, MWC in short. The gadget has a 5 mega pixel camera in the rear and a 0.3 mega pixel camera in the front for video calls. It has a 4 inches TFT display. The display comes with WVGA resolution. The display’s resolution is 480 * 800 pixels. The gadget has internal storage capacity of 4 GB and using a Micro SD card the storage capacity can be increased to 32 GB. There is a slot to allow cards of up to 32 GB.
UBS version 2.0, Bluetooth version 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and A-GPS are the ways that Samsung lets you connect the device with other gadgets and phones. The gadget weighs 148 grams, which proves it is compact and can be carried easily. This portability that is of ease is the greatest demand of the hour. Android Jelly Bean 4.1 or 4.2 are the applications that the device runs on. A 1700 mAh battery that is 130.5 mm high and 67.7 mm wide and 11.9 mm thick is what powers the device.
The device is not only water and dust resistant, but also expected to stay strong for rough use.
Samsung Galaxy X Cover and the Next generation:
The original X cover from Samsung was launched a couple of years back. This gadget is not a powerhouse of specs or not it was loaded with inspiring features. The Galaxy X Cover 2 G follows the suit of its predecessor. The new version is however, revealed that running the latest Nature UX on top of the 4.1 or 4.2 Jelly Bean Android processor of the X Cover 2. Since, most of the specs are kept under cover till the launch, the exact Android Jelly processor is unable to be pointed at as either 4.1 or 4.2 at this stage.

Compared to the predecessor, the new version of Samsung Galaxy X Cover 2 has an improved battery. While the original X cover itself is dust and water resistant, and IP67, the follow up version is expected to be nothing below the rank.
Only when the phone is launched in the MWC this year, the exact details and specs can be brought forward.

This is great for people who don’t like to be extra cautious while handling their phone. The specs are also decent with Android 4.1 OS. Looking forward for its official launch.

Really there are more features available in this phone which are mostly both useful and helpful for me. And i hope the battery backup will be also good.
